Project Greenlight is a moderated digital community where 18–25 year old femme-identifying adults can ask relationship questions (anonymously if they need to), hear from peers and experts, and build the language and skills to navigate relationships before harmful patterns take root. In our listening research, nearly 2 in 3 young adults said they had stayed in an unhealthy relationship because they were confused.
We're looking for 2–3 university-based researchers or faculty to join us for an applied research collaboration, anchored by a 3-month Greenlight pilot with about 50–100 students at your university. Together we want to build an early evidence base on questions like: how anonymity, moderation and peer community shape safety and trust online, and whether relationship literacy could be a way to step in earlier in gender-based harm.
Expression of interest deadline: October 20, 2026.
The Partnership
Each collaboration brings together three core elements. This is a collaborative research partnership rather than a paid research position. Parity Lab will provide Greenlight at no cost to participating students for the duration of the university pilot.
A university partnership. Our research partners will help establish an institutional home for Greenlight and create a pathway for approximately 50–100 students at their university to participate in the pilot. This might sit within an academic program, research center, student wellness initiative, women’s or gender center, student organization, or another part of the university ecosystem.
A research lens. Together, we will define a focused research question that draws on the partner’s expertise and the unique learning opportunity created by a live Greenlight cohort.
A live intervention. Parity Lab will provide the Greenlight platform at no cost for approximately 50–100 participating students, along with student onboarding, moderation and community management, our team’s expertise in gender-based harm prevention and relationship literacy, and access to eligible, appropriately de-identified research data.
Any research access will be governed by appropriate participant consent, privacy protections, data-sharing agreements, and institutional or ethical requirements.
We are selecting 2–3 university partners for this initial research and pilot cohort. If you are a university-based researcher or faculty member interested in exploring this work with us, we invite you to submit a short expression of interest here by October 20, 2026.
